Maggie Talks - A band with international standards and character. Those
were the words from the Danish Vig Festival, when Maggie Talks
concurred the stage this summer. Maggie Talks have achieved valuable
experience from their energetic concerts all over Denmark, as well as
being support for the american Nashville band, Mona.
Considering the fact that the band has only existed in 2 years, Maggie
Talks is already a well established name on the Danish music scene, and
the five lads from Copenhagen emphasize their potential with their latest
release.
With their debut EP recorded, Maggie Talks started their tour in spring
2011 - First as support for Stoffer & Maskinen and latest on their own DK-Tour. This resulted in a close corporation between Lasse Baunkilde and
Andreas Sommer, the producer team who introduced Maggie Talks to a
new direction and a higher level.
The band consist of drummer Martin Alexander, the two guitarists
Christoffer Lundbak and Christoffer Berg, the bassist Sebastian Gabe and
singer Toke Lotz. Gliding guitar riffs and tight coordinations between
drums and bass provide with precision the musical framework for lead
singer Toke Lotz, who brings the audience into the sound universe of
Maggie Talks with his authenticity.
